Advocate Partners
The Healthy D.C. & Me Leadership Coalition are seeking partners to aid in our local resource management efforts and intentions. Families living in and around the District have been faced with trying to survive the Covid-19 pandemic with minimal and in many cases no resources or economic means to weather their daily living circumstances and realities.
Now more than ever there must be protections and support on the community level to help offset the ongoing shortage and gaps in government identified resources and accountability. History has detailed the responsible nature in which we culturally came together to become the source of economic self-sufficiency in our push for racial equality & justice during a time when African American families were systemically being oppressed.
The Nation’s capital and its surrounding jurisdictions must continually be held to a higher standard of caring & provisions for its people and families who demonstrate diminished capacity during this pandemic and otherwise.
Calling all partners!
It’s time to coordinate our efforts. We’re building a network of readily available food & clothing items, job/career trainings, prayer & companion services, drug & alcohol rehabilitative supports, legal & public safety consults, distribution & classroom location commitments, housing & homeless solutions, case management, corporate giving, hygienic & survival kit distributions, you name it!
