PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD (WBFF) – A 12-year-old Washington, D.C. boy is charged with first-degree murder, in a fatal shooting at a Prince George’s County shopping center.
Police said a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot, and another 13-year-old boy was stabbed, after a Saturday-night dispute between two groups of teens at Ritchie Station Shopping Center, in the Glenarden area of Prince George’s County.
King Douglas, 13, of Upper Marlboro, was pronounced dead at the scene, after being shot.
The other teen has non-life-threatening injuries from being stabbed; he has since been released from a hospital, said police.
The 12-year-old DC boy is charged only in the shooting. Police are still looking for a suspect in the stabbing.
